'Face-Eater' Documentation

Denotes assorted collection of documents/artwork talking about 'face-eaters', creatures without facial features. Some of the earliest documentation concerning the monogastric. 'face-eater' was later taken by certain monogastric entities and used when talking about multigastric humans.

Most documents are held in museum archives not available to the public, photographs and scans can be found online though.

1868 Report

First sighting and capture of a creature dubbed as 'monogastric'. Dissection undergone and diagrams/illustrations created demonstrating the enigmatic interior lives of these things.

1903 Hills Survey

Townsmen invited to take part in expedition into the hills to evaluate the growing monogastric threat. 4 of the 14 participants return without much to show for it other than some brief documentation and event logs.

Monogastric Manifesto

Original Monogastric Manifesto set out by G.D is currently held by a private collector. Copies and excerpts held in archives.

Excerpt 1:

..The pure philosophy of the fresh flesh! Have we not receded into ourselves long enough! This must end in order to avoid the complete implosion of the human race and all that is right and all that is digestible not detestable.. and it goes on.

1997 G.D Cave Expedition

G.D led expedition deep into the caves. Very successful and detailed logs/maps created along with photography and field samples. Much of the data has been lost with the shuttering of MMC though.
